The COGZ CMMS Software Copy Equipment Form allows you to copy PM tasks from one piece of equipment (number) to another. This CMMS Software copy function provides an easy method to setup your PM database. Its main purpose is to allow you to create one piece of equipment complete with preventive maintenance tasks and then copy it to other similar pieces of equipment. This greatly reduces setup time and insures consistency.
Delete Copy To PM’s Before Copying: Deletes remaining preventive maintenance tasks before copying; creates an entirely new list rather than just adding to the initial one.
Copy Equipment Drawings: Copies equipment drawings.
Delete Existing and Copy Equipment Components: Deletes existing components and then copies equipment components.
The Preventive Maintenance Scheduling System can be rapidly setup by creating standard equipment:
Standard equipment should contain generic tasks that can then be copied to real equipment numbers. The tasks that do not apply can then be deleted. Example: Create a conveyor that has all the conveyor tasks that you need to perform maintenance on all of the conveyors in your facility. Copy this standard conveyor to other conveyors and delete the tasks that do not apply.
